Familia Meerapfel are o istorie de peste 140 de ani in cresterea, recoltarea, distributia si vanzarea tutunului. Sunt faimosi pentru productia lor de tutun din Cameroon, in special, insa de-a lungul unui secol si jumatate, afacerile cu tutun i-au purtat in tari precum Cuba, Indonesia, Germania si alte tari africane. Familia Meerapfel a fost, in istorie, unul dintre cei mai mari exportatori de tutun cubanez din lume, si inclusiv astazi, inca detin o cantitate considerabila de tutun cubanez.
In anul 2014, familia lanseaza brandul propriu La Estancia. Produse in Honduras, trabucurile de o tarie medie, contin tutun cubanez. Brandul s-a lansat cu doua vitole – Corona si Robusto – adaugand pe parcurs si altele. La Estancia Double Robusto este un trabuc generos, cu o lungime de 160 mm si un inel de 50. Impachetare de 25, in cutie de lemn, asemanatoare cutiilor produse de cubanezi cu ani in urma.
The Meerapfel family has a history of over 140 years in growing, harvesting, distributing and selling tobacco. They are famous for their tobacco production in Cameroon, in particular, but over the course of a century and a half, the tobacco business has taken them to countries such as Cuba, Indonesia, Germany and other African countries. The Meerapfel family was, historically, one of the largest exporters of Cuban tobacco in the world, and even today, they still own a considerable amount of Cuban tobacco.
In 2014, the family launched its own La Estancia brand. Produced in Honduras, the medium strength cigars contain Cuban tobacco. The brand launched with two vitolas - Corona and Robusto - adding others along the way. La Estancia Double Robusto is a generous cigar, with a length of 160 mm and a ring of 50. Packaging of 25, in a wooden box, similar to the boxes produced by Cubans years ago.
