Jose L. Piedra este un brand realmente diferite intre brandurile Habanos nu doar prin faptul ca are in compozitia sa frunze din zona Remedios, dar si prin faptul ca, in fabricarea acestor trabucuri, se foloseste tehnica Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Corta sau in totalitate manual, short filler. Familia Piedra a ajuns in Cuba in 1880, venind din provincia spaniola Asturias si s-a asezat in Santa Clara, un oras in inima regiunii Remedios. A doua generatie a familie, in frunte cu Jose Lamadrid Piedra, al carui nume este comemorat si astazi, a infiintat si dezvoltat brandul.
Jose L. Piedra is a really different brand among the Habanos brands, not only because it contains leaves from the Remedios area, but also because, in the manufacture of these cigars, the Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Corta or completely manual, short filler technique is used. The Piedra family arrived in Cuba in 1880, coming from the Spanish province of Asturias and settled in Santa Clara, a city in the heart of the Remedios region. The second generation of the family, led by Jose Lamadrid Piedra, whose name is still commemorated today, founded and developed the brand.
