Pozitia regelui si reginei indica conducerea lor incontestabila. Episcopul(nebunului)isi dezvaluie consideratia pentru miscarile luptei iminente.
In cele din urma, Castelul(Turnul) este o reproducere a unei coloane care a caracterizat stilul arhitectural in acea perioada.
This period was characterized by ferocious local as well as international wars. The aggressiveness of the pawn and the knight (the horse) fully represents the ferocity of these wars. The position of the king and queen indicates their undisputed leadership. The bishop (to the madman) reveals his consideration for the movements of the impending battle.
