O legenda spune ca maiastra pasare Phoenix a facut intotdeauna parte din spiritul S.T. Dupont, inca de la infiintarea brandului. Se spune ca pasarea mitica si-a imprumutat aripile artizanilor francezi pentru a fi transformate in creatii de exceptie si a insuflat acestora dragostea transformata in arta. S.T. Dupont a creat in cadrul editiei limitate Phoenix Renaissance un stilou de exceptie, acoperit in lac natural negru si pudra de meteorit si finisat cu palladium. Capacul este gravat cu detalii fine, iar clipsul are o forma speciala, ambele inspirate din aripile vestitei pasari.
