Punch este unul dintre cele mai vechi branduri din portofoliul Habanos. Creat la mijlocul secolul 19, de catre Don Manuel Lopez de la Juan Valle & Co. Acesta a fost adresat in primul rand pietei in continua dezvoltare din Regatul Unit, acolo unde o revista de comedie cu acelasi nume era in voga. Personajul principal, Mr. Punch, un clovn, este si astazi regasit pe fiecare cutie. Acesta e cu un trabuc in mana, si inconjurat de imagini de secol 19 care arata modul in care se fabrica trabucurile. In 1931, Punch s-a asociat cu Hoyo de Monterrey. Cele doua branduri sunt manufacturate in aceeasi fabrica inca de atunci – La Corona. Toate trabucurile au o tarie medie.
Punch is one of the oldest brands in the Habanos portfolio. Created in the mid-19th century, by Don Manuel Lopez of Juan Valle & Co. It was primarily addressed to the ever-growing market in the United Kingdom, where a comedy magazine of the same name was in vogue. The main character, Mr. Punch, a clown, can still be found on every box today. This one is with a cigar in his hand, and surrounded by 19th century images that show how cigars are made. In 1931, Punch partnered with Hoyo de Monterrey. The two brands have been manufactured in the same factory ever since - La Corona. All cigars have a medium strength.
