Ele au inceput sa fie fabricate inca din 1961, pentru consum domestic, in fabrica Fransico Donatien din Pinar del Rio. In 1997, Habanos a decis exportul acestor trabucuri catre piata internationala. Astazi, sunt considerate perfecte pentru fumatorii la inceput de drum datorita constructiei corecte, intensitatii medii si echilibrul in gust.
