Inca din 1845, familia Robaina a crescut tutun pe plantatiile sale de la Cuchillas de Barbacoa, in Vuelta Abajo. Brandul a luat nastere in 1997, ca un tribut adus crescatorilor cubanezi de tutun prin figura proeminenta a lui Don Alejandro Robaina. Astfel, brandul in sine onoreaza toti cultivatorii anonimi de tutun. Cunostintele si calitatile acestora a ajutat Habanos sa ajunga la momentul de astazi.
Ever since 1845, the Robaina family has grown tobacco on its plantations at Cuchillas de Barbacoa, in Vuelta Abajo. The brand was born in 1997, as a tribute to Cuban tobacco farmers through the prominent figure of Don Alejandro Robaina. Thus, the brand itself honors all anonymous tobacco growers. Their knowledge and qualities helped Habanos to reach today's moment.
