Trinindad poarta numele superbului oras al secolului 16 La Santisima Trinindad (Sfanta Treime). Acesta este marcat de UNESCO ca World Heritage Site, si care este situat pe coasta sudica a Cubei. Trinidad exista ca brand inca din 1969, acesta era creat doar pentru a fi oferit drept cadou diplomatilor straini. Lansarea sa a avut loc in 1998 si atunci doar in cantitati limitate.

Trinidad is named after the superb city of the 16th century La Santisima Trinindad (Holy Trinity). It is marked by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and is located on the southern coast of Cuba. Trinidad has existed as a brand since 1969, it was created only to be offered as a gift to foreign diplomats. Its launch took place in 1998 and then only in limited quantities.
