Glenmorangie 18 ani este un single malt cu totul şi cu totul inedit. Sortimentul este învechit timp de 15 ani în butoaie din lemn de stejar alb american. 30% din cantitate este transferată în butoaie de sherry Oloroso pentru a continua învechirea, în timp ce restul de 70% îşi continuă maturarea în butoaiele originale. Când băutura din ambele tipuri de butoaie a atins pragul de 18 ani de maturare, aceasta este amestecată pentru a da naştere unui single malt cu buchet amplu şi sofisticat. Glenmorangie 18 years old is a single malt completely and completely unique. The assortment is aged for 15 years in American white oak barrels. 30% of the quantity is transferred to Oloroso sherry casks to continue ageing, while the remaining 70% continues to mature in the original casks. When the drink from both types of casks has reached the 18-year maturation threshold, it is blended to give rise to a single malt with an ample and sophisticated bouquet. Despite the long aging period to which the assortment is subjected, it still retains a vibrant and fresh character.
