Lasanta înseamnă „căldură şi pasiune” în limba galeză şi se referă la provenienţa spaniolă a butoaielor de sherry, dar şi la textura catifelată şi la aroma dulce şi prietenoasă a acestui sortiment. Single malt-ul este învechit timp de 10 ani în butoaie din lemn de stejar american, urmând ca ultimii 2 ani de maturare să îi petreacă în butoaie de sherry Oloroso şi Pedro Ximenez aduse special din Jerez, Spania. Sortimentul nu este filtrat la rece, pentru a-şi păstra corpolenţa şi gustul intens. Glenmorangie 12 ani Lasanta este un sortiment elegant, frumos echilibrat şi expresiv, o adevărată încântare a simţurilor.
Notele degustării:
Miros: Un amestec interesant de note de ciocolată cu stafide, fagure de miere, praline şi condimente specifice sezonului rece.
Gust: Arome bogate de stafide, portocală, nuci, caramele cu lapte şi condimente hipnotizante.
Finish: Lung, amplu, cu accente de portocală şi nuci învelite în ciocolată.
Culoare: Ambră.
Lasanta means "warmth and passion" in Welsh and refers to the Spanish origin of the sherry casks, but also to the velvety texture and sweet and friendly aroma of this assortment. The single malt is aged for 10 years in American oak barrels, followed by the last 2 years of maturation in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks specially brought from Jerez, Spain. The assortment is not cold-filtered, in order to preserve its fullness and intense taste. Glenmorangie 12 years Lasanta is an elegant, beautifully balanced and expressive assortment, a real delight for the senses.

Smell: An interesting mix of chocolate notes with raisins, honeycomb, pralines and spices specific to the cold season.
Taste: Rich aromas of raisins, orange, nuts, milk caramels and mesmerizing spices.
Finish: Long, ample, with accents of orange and nuts wrapped in chocolate.
