Davidoff Cigars a anunțat o nouă linie de producție obișnuită numită Davidoff 702 Series. 702 este cunoscut pentru mulți fani Davidoff. Acesta este numele unui tutun hibrid folosit pe mai multe produse Davidoff – inclusiv 2009 ediție limitată Davidoff Seleccion 702.
Învelișul 702 este produsul unui hibrid de trei semințe cubaneze (Habano). Tutunul în sine este cultivat exclusiv pentru Davidoff la San Juan Finca în afara provinciei Cotopaxi.

Davidoff Cigars has announced a new regular production line called the Davidoff 702 Series. 702 is known to many Davidoff fans. This is the name of a hybrid tobacco used on several Davidoff products - including the 2009 limited edition Davidoff Seleccion 702.
The 702 wrapper is the product of a hybrid of three Cuban seeds (Habano). The tobacco itself is grown exclusively for Davidoff at San Juan Finca outside the province of Cotopaxi.
With the new 702, Davidoff takes and replaces Davidoff 2000, Davidoff Special R, Davidoff Double R, Davidoff Special T, Davidoff Aniversario No. 3, Davidoff No. 2 and Davidoff Entreacto. The 702 No. 2 and 702 Entreacto are described as limited editions. The special tees are Double R are US only releases. Davidoff says the binder and filler of these seven cigars are unchanged from the original.
