Lansat în anul 2007, sortimentul Dalmore 15 ani este apreciat în special datorită profilului său aromatic deosebit, perfect echilibrat. Secretul caracterului său armonios se datorează în mare parte procesului specific de maturare, care constă în două etape. Single malt-ul este supus unei învechiri iniţiale de 12 ani în butoaie din lemn de stejar alb pentru bourbon, urmând ca ultimii 3 ani să îi petreacă în butoaie de sherry Amoroso, Apostoles şi Matusalem Oloroso. Înainte de îmbuteliere, conţinutul tuturor butoaielor este amestecat pentru a crea acest sortiment expresiv, ideal pentru cei care preferă un whisky elegant şi aromat.
Notele degustării:
Miros: Note bogate şi îmbietoare de ciocolată, portocale zemoase, fructe uscate, alune proaspete şi turtă dulce.
Gust: Un buchet amplu, alcătuit din arome delicioase de ciocolată, portocale, stafide şi coacăze, învăluite în note condimentate, specifice sezonului rece: ghimbir, nucşoară şi scorţişoară.
Finish: Lung, dulce, cu tonuri de malţ şi fum.
Culoare: Arămiu.
Launched in 2007, the Dalmore 15 years assortment is particularly appreciated due to its special aromatic profile, perfectly balanced. The secret of its harmonious character is largely due to the specific ripening process, which consists of two stages. The single malt undergoes an initial aging of 12 years in white oak bourbon casks, followed by the final 3 years in Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks. Before bottling, the contents of all casks are blended to create this expressive range, ideal for those who prefer an elegant and aromatic whisky.
Tasting notes:
Smell: Rich and inviting notes of chocolate, juicy oranges, dried fruit, fresh hazelnuts and gingerbread.
Taste: An ample bouquet, made up of delicious aromas of chocolate, oranges, raisins and currants, wrapped in spicy notes, specific to the cold season: ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon.
Finish: Long, sweet, with malt and smoke tones.
