COHIBA MEDIO SIGLO a fost creat special pentru Fidel Castro. Amestecul a devenit în cele din urmă cunoscut sub numele de Cohiba în 1966. Aceasta marca privată era disponibilă doar pentru El Lider Maximo. Inaltii funcționari guvernamentali și membri ai Partidului Comunist il puteau accesa pentru uz personal și pentru cadouri diplomatice.

COHIBA MEDIO SIGLO was created especially for Fidel Castro. The blend eventually became known as Cohiba in 1966. This private label was only available for El Lider Maximo. High government officials and members of the Communist Party could access it for personal use and for diplomatic gifts.
